Recent developments
- In March 2010 AEI begins selling crude palm oil!!!
- In January 2010 AEI-Amenu employs Zleh Town community workers and commenced operations of oil-palm processing. Baseline production levels have increased substantially. AEI also commences conversations with other cooperative of farmers.
- Under the oversight and support of the Ministry of Agriculture, in November 2010 AEI acquired 15,000 acres of oil palm plantation by signing a joint venture agreement with The Amenu Cooperative in Zleh Town, Grand Gedeh.
- In November ’09, the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) grants AEI permission to negotiate directly with the farmers of Liberia’s designated Palm Cooperatives.
